1、Apply lubricating grease (butter) to the pin shaft of the working device
The running-in period for the working device is 100 hours, and lubrication should be applied every 4 hours of operation during this period. For regular maintenance, lubricate the bucket, boom, and arm every 8 hours of operation. In case of abnormal sounds from the working device, immediate lubrication is required. During heavy-duty operations, lubrication is needed every 4 hours of operation.
2、Inspect crucial areas to ensure bolts and nuts are neither loose nor missing
3、Check the hydraulic oil tank level, and add oil if necessary
When observing the hydraulic oil level, lower the boom and retract the arm. Let it stand for 10 minutes and check; the oil level should be in the middle range, indicating normal levels. Note: Avoid mixing hydraulic oils of different brands or models to prevent adverse effects on the excavator's proper functioning. Additionally, ensure regular hydraulic oil changes to guarantee the long-term stability of the excavator's operation.
4、Check the coolant level, and add if necessary
Antifreeze, also known as coolant, serves a crucial role. In cold winter conditions, it prevents the coolant from freezing, avoiding the risk of radiator cracking and damage to engine components. In high summer temperatures, it effectively prevents overheating, preventing the occurrence of boiling.
5、Check the engine oil level, and add if necessary
After shutting down the engine, wait for at least 3 minutes. Remove the oil level dipstick and wipe it clean with a dry cloth, especially the end used for measuring the oil level. Reinsert the cleaned dipstick into the oil, let it rest for 3 seconds, and then pull it out. The oil level should be observed at or above the 2/3 mark, which is considered normal.
6、Inspect the engine for starting performance, exhaust smoke, and unusual noises
When starting the engine, observe the ease and quality of the startup. For a normal gasoline engine, the exhaust gases during operation should be colorless. After starting, let it run at the overall speed and check for any abnormal noises during operation.
7、Inspect each system for oil and fluid leaks
Check the hydraulic system for oil stains on pipes and joints. Inspect the cooling system for water traces on pipes and joints. Examine the lubrication system for oil stains on pipes and joints.
8、Inspect and clean the radiator fins
Turn off the excavator engine and wait for at least 5 minutes to allow the engine to cool down. Clean the surface of the radiator fins using water and a soft brush or compressed air gun. Check for any damage or obstructions on the radiator surface, such as screws or stones. Ensure the radiator's exhaust outlet is clear.
